SO WHAT IS THIS?

A brief description of what this mod is and what you get from it.

Hi everybody,

For couple years now I've been collecting and tweaking my Skyrim Textures/Meshes.

With the release of the Skyrim Special Edition I was planning to actually play the game instead of just make it look good. So I started making my Skyrim folder ready for the new version of the game, as I knew from pictures leaked that graphics wasn't improved as it supposed to be.

We all know that is plenty of Texture Packs around but what makes this different from other Texture Packs in Nexus, for instance, is that everything has been looked at and edited to make sense with its surround, no weird realistic texture mixed with minecraft-like textures, or a 4k resolution brick joined with a 512 pixels wall.

Having completed the package I was satisfied with, I thought about sharing it with friends that's why I made this page. I've never EVER thought of getting any credit from it when I started this project nor will you ever see my name credit anywhere, even though many textures been made by myself. I do have plans for replacing every texture with my own, BUT that will be in the future...

The problem with publishing it lies in... Permissions. I have used so many texture packs as base or inspiration for so long I don't even recall which belongs to which. Textures like Noble's and Langley's and Vivid amongst others were the latest used.

I have made this big package that not just adds to the game but it totally replaces the original vanilla BSA files. Most textures are 2k size, some upscaled with a fair tweak, some from modders and some I had to make from scratch.

In the end I love the way it looks and if you are a lover of the classic game but can't stand the ugly textures Bethesda art team put out, perhaps you will like this.

Have fun!
